Miami, FL May 11, 2026 —The Alliance for Aging, Inc. proudly hosted its successful 2026 Annual Conference on May 7th at the Hilton Miami Airport Hotel, Blue Lagoon, bringing together over 300 healthcare professionals, community leaders, advocates, and industry experts for a dynamic day of education, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussion focused on Aging in the Age of AI.
This year’s conference explored the critical topic of Aging in the Age of AI, highlighting the opportunities and challenges emerging technologies present for older adults, caregivers, and the organizations that serve them.

The event featured an engaging keynote presentation, an expert panel discussion, and interactive conversations designed to examine how innovation is shaping the future of aging services and healthcare delivery. Attendees gained valuable insights into practical applications, ethical considerations, and strategies for ensuring that technological advancement supports the health, independence, and quality of life of older adults.

Highlights of the conference included the keynote presentation from Tom Kamber, Founder and Executive Director of Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) and Senior Planet, whose expertise provided attendees with valuable perspectives on digital inclusion and community engagement for older adults. In addition, Conference Panelists included Raymond Ownby, MD, PhD, MBA, Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Nova Southeastern University and Anne Goldberg, Technology Educator and Author. The panel was moderated by Conference Co-Chair Joy Siegel, EdD, MBA, Assistant Professor, Public Health, Nova Southeastern University. Heather M. Harris, VP, Research and Clinical Operations, Cognivue, Inc., also participated as a Co-Chair of the event. John Gerard from WPLG Local 10 News was the Emcee.
