Dear Friends of the Alliance,
We are very pleased to present our 2024 Community Report, representing another year of remarkable progress and collaboration under the direction of our outstanding Board of Directors and the support of our Advisory Council. We are beholden to our dedicated staff and community service providers who continue to navigate the challenges of serving the rapidly growing population of older adults in need in South Florida.
During 2024, The Alliance managed a significant expansion of home- delivered meals and services, enhanced caregiver support, and implemented cutting-edge technologies aimed at promoting the health and safety of older adults in their own homes. We continue to partner with county and municipal governments, foundations, charitable organizations, and advocacy groups dedicated to addressing the needs of older adults.
A Letter from the President In May, 2024, our New Face of Aging Conference, “Enlightenment on the Path to Aging,” was held in Coral Gables for over 300 industry leaders and professionals. Our speakers presented a wealth of information on the latest innovations and services designed to enhance all of our lives. The Conference also announced the New Face of Aging Scholarship Grantees from Miami-Dade College, recognizing and supporting the hard work of a group of new professionals who are entering the aging network.
Our dedicated staff, together with our service provider organizations, continue to demonstrate exemplary skill in navigating the complexities of delivering services to older adults within the dynamic landscapes of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. We applaud their unwavering professionalism and dedication.
We encourage you to read our report and learn more about the diverse programs and services offered by the Alliance and our extensive aging network. As we prepare for the challenges of 2025, we heartily welcome your continued support and collaboration.
